Free AI audit tool

Scrape your site, or a competitor's, and find every page AI search won't quote

It runs in Google Colab, so there's nothing to install and nothing to pay for. Give it one URL, it crawls the whole site, scores every page against the checks that decide whether an AI assistant will cite you, and writes the results to a Google Sheet with the fixes ranked by how much improvement you get per hour of work.

The AI citation audit notebook open in Google Colab, showing the CONFIG cell where you set the site URL to audit

What it checks, page by page

  • Whether the page cites an authoritative source, and whether its statistics are attributed to anyone at all
  • Whether your schema sits in the static HTML or gets injected by JavaScript after load, which the AI crawlers mostly don't run
  • Whether dateModified is genuinely different from datePublished, or just decorative
  • Whether a page is a near-duplicate of four others, and how far it sits from your site's main subject

Point it at a competitor's domain instead of your own and you get the same scored breakdown of their site, which is honestly the faster way to work out what's winning citations in your niche and why.

It won't tell you what to write. It only flags the things a machine can actually verify, which turns out to be most of what goes wrong.
